Painting is a window of moods and colors that helps me to learn more about myself.

The Studio is where my dreams transform themselves into open avenues that take me beyond what I lay down on the canvas.

A Canvas is a way of seeing through what is obvious so that I can find myself and discover others.

An Exhibition is making a door fly open on its hinges so that I can get closer to you.

Being an Artist is finding my "joie de vivre" in sharing with you what lies beyond myself.

Training

During more than 6 years he studied oil painting with Jeanine McCrea, professional painter.

Several trips and stays abroad triggered his creativity and made him discover new colors, shadows and light. He rubbed shoulders with several artists and craftsmen in Ireland where he lived for more than a year, Paris, Provence in the South of France, Seattle, Virginia and Quebec, his homeland.

The result is a unique palette of colors rich with emotions and life's experiences while respecting the beauty of what the eye and heart can behold.

His mother surprised him one day by giving him a painting his father had created in 1937. He then understood where his passion came from.

He has since made several solo exhibitions and participated in many group events throughout Quebec.
